E-Payment Systems
Internet payment can be used to load money onto user accounts for cashless catering, print management, or even to pay for school trips and activities. As soon as credit is loaded, the customer's account is updated. Transactions can be viewed through reports within the EasyTrace system software or through users' individual accounts.
Benefits
Using an online E-Payment System reduces the amount of cash being taken into the school. This results in less bullying, less lost money, much less admin for the school (as well as the physical issues of lots of onsite cash) and makes it easier for the student, the parent and the school to stay on top of the student's balance.
How does it work?
As well as loading an individual account via the onsite Account Loaders , EasyTrace gives a parent/guardian the ability to credit an account online from home or work using an E-Payment host. We favour ParentPay , but can link into all mainstream schemes. Money added to a pupil's account is instantly credited to the school's account.
By encouraging parents to use an e-payment site, you can reduce administration time spent managing cash and minimise banking costs.
EasyTrace acts as the integrator of the cashless catering system at the school (the products and food sold etc) and ensures that any subsequent purchasing of these goods is debited from the users' accounts accordingly.

How secure is it?
Very secure - ParentPay, for example, features managed firewalls and a secure data centre facility. So long as the chosen E-Payment supplier has standard online security methods in place, then it is as secure as shopping online.
What if I don't have online access?
The traditional method of crediting an account is still available via the onsite Account Loaders - it's not either/or.
How quick is the transaction credited to the student's account?
Approximately 5 to 10 minutes.
How does a parent / guardian request a refund - e.g. if a student leaves the school?
They would contact the school to arrange a refund, just as if they had paid in cash onsite.

Via the internet using a secure payment site, ParentPay is a secure payment site where parents can make payments securely, reliably and quickly by credit or debit card. ParentPay is available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, and processes card transactions in just a few seconds. Parents can also view the account balance via the ParentPay website.
