What steps do we need to take prior to installation?
It is recommended that a group presentation or assembly is delivered prior to installation explaining:

• Why the scheme is being introduced and when it will go live
• That the card is key to students' accounts and now forms an essential part of school life
• The procedure for lost or stolen cards

What if a student loses their card?
The card is immediately disabled and a temporary replacement is issued. Each card holds no value - the money is held on the central database. If someone attempts to use a disabled card, the system rejects it as an invalid card.
